Job Description

Step into an essential Speech-Language Pathologist contract role, partnering with dedicated educators and families to support student communication needs in a vibrant school setting. This on-site position, available for the upcoming academic year, focuses on delivering impactful speech and language services to students across PreK and grades 412. You'll join either a primary, elementary, or middle school environmentserving between 3540 studentsto make a direct difference in their academic journey.

Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina NCDPI SLP License required (license confirmation a must)
  • SLP-CCC credential; candidates must have Certificate of Clinical Competence
  • ECATS experience required for data management and compliance
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • No SLP Clinical Fellows (CFs) or SLP Assistants (SLPAs) at this time
  • Proficiency with Infinite Campus system is highly desirable
  • Commitment to on-site service delivery

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy tailored to Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Conduct thorough assessments and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate and participate in IEP meetings with teams, teachers, and families
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation and progress notes in ECATS
  • Manage your own caseload across multiple grade levels and school sites
  • Offer consultative support for staff as needed and participate in classroom-based intervention
  • Adjust therapy based on student progress and data-driven insights
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant special education standards and guidelines

This full-time, on-site opportunity will run from August 17, 2026, to June 4, 2027.
