Job Description

This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative K-12 school environment in Hiawatha, KS. The role involves supporting a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students with varying ages and communication needs, including those with significant challenges, shared among a dedicated team of three SLP professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a team of SLP staff to deliver high-quality support.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports.
  • Communicate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals.
  • Serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP license required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a school setting (SLP-School certification) is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload with students exhibiting a range of speech and language needs.

Location and Schedule:

  • Onsite position based in Hiawatha, KS.
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Contract position through May 22, 2026.
