Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist licensure in Alabama
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
  • Solid understanding of case management, therapy modalities, and progress documentation
  • Outstanding communication and organization skills
  • Commitment to fostering students communication abilities and supporting their personal growth

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy to students, targeting speech, language, and communication goals
  • Manage caseloads efficiently, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines
  • Conduct both individualized and group therapy sessions to accommodate diverse student needs
  • Work in partnership with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement IEPs
  • Track student progress, maintain detailed records, and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Offer support and guidance to families and school personnel regarding strategies for generalizing skills
