Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist is needed for a K-12 school setting in Heber Springs, AR, for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers a full-time schedule with 40 hours per week over five days. The role involves providing speech and language services to students across all grade levels within multiple district locations.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid Arkansas Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience in school-based speech therapy, including work as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) clinician is preferred
  • Skills in teletherapy and pediatric SLP services are valuable
  • Ability to work effectively within a supportive and collaborative school district environment

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
  • Deliver therapy in-person and potentially via teletherapy
