Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated professional to deliver essential speech and language services within a K-12 educational setting in Healdsburg, CA. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the communication skills of students from kindergarten through 12th grade, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech therapy services to students.
  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and engage with families regarding student development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings.
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and collaborative team dynamics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits:
