A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized services within a K-12 educational setting in Jim Thorpe, PA. This full-time contract opportunity spans from January 5, 2026, through April 3, 2026, working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. The position involves managing a caseload of approximately 60 students, delivering targeted speech and language interventions that support academic and social success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP License required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working in school settings with children from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders
- Strong communication skills with students, parents, and educators
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage a substantial caseload effectively
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to identify student speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in meetings and provide updates on student performance
