Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving preschool students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This onsite position offers you the chance to work with young learners during a short-term FMLA assignment, running from September through October. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist License and PEL ASHA Certification required
- Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome to apply
- Experience working in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with school teams and families
- Enthusiasm for supporting early childhood development
What Youll Do:
- Deliver direct therapy services to preschool-aged students in a school-based environment
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and document progress
- Collaborate closely with fellow educators, families, and related service providers
- Adapt intervention plans to meet individual student needs
- Maintain timely records and ensure compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
