Speech language professionals with a passion for supporting K-12 students are invited to step into a dynamic contract role just 50 minutes from Athens, GA. This assignment offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by covering a maternity leave from August through October 2026, working standard school hours during the week. Desired qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP licensure required
- Open to SLPs holding either CCC or CFY
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech-language services
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to K-12 students in accordance with IEPs
- Assess, document, and provide targeted interventions for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of treatment goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all assigned students
