Job Description

This position offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized speech-language pathology services in an elementary school setting. You will work directly with children to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, helping to improve their educational outcomes and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations on students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Deliver therapy sessions via teletherapy platforms when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience in school-based speech pathology services.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but new graduates with CFY eligibility are welcome.
  • Experience delivering teletherapy services is a strong plus.
  • Background working with pediatric populations, particularly in educational or healthcare settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping children succeed.

  • Elementary school environment in Hartford, CT.

Contract Details:

  • This is a contract position for the current school year (CSY).
