Job Description

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year in Hartford, CT. This contract role involves providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services within an elementary school setting.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group speech and language therapy to students with various communication disorders
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment
