Job Description

This contract position offers the opportunity to work 37.5 hours a week during the 2025-2026 school year, addressing the diverse needs of K-12 students.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
  • Familiarity with interventions for students with speech and language disorders
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Location: Hampshire, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to implement individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed
  • Conduct initial screenings and participate in IEP meetings
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment conducive to student growth
