Qualifications and Skills:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid state SLP license or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Organizational skills with attention to documentation and timelines

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and reevaluations for students referred for speech and language concerns
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and progress updates
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation for compliance
  • Offer resources, training, and consultation to staff and parents as needed
