Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support elementary and PreK students in a middle school setting in Greenwood, SC. This contractual role begins October 13 and runs through February 2026, with a possibility of extension. The position offers a flexible onsite/virtual arrangement and a workweek of 35-40 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary and PreK students, addressing diverse communication needs
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
  • Monitor caseload and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions as needed

Qualifications:

  • Valid South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License required
  • Experience working in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to adapt to virtual or onsite service delivery models
