Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for Speech Language Pathologists looking to make a significant impact in the lives of students. This contract position is based in Greenville, SC, within a dynamic K-12 school environment, commencing with the 2025-2026 school year.

Location: Greenville, SC
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in self-contained classes, focusing on varied age groups from PK-2 and grades 3-5.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to implement strategies that support students' communication goals.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and progress records in compliance with school policies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP reviews to discuss student progress and necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SC Speech Language Pathologist License.
  • SC Educator Certification.
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus.
