Job Description

A K-12 school in Great Barrington, MA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services for the current school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students across all grade levels through evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student performance, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines related to speech-language services

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Valid licensure as an SLP in the state of Massachusetts
  • Experience providing speech-language services within a school setting
  • Knowledge of K-12 educational standards and regulations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
