Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Michigan SLP license
  • Previous experience working in schools strongly preferred

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment outcomes and educational goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services in group and one-on-one settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress and integration into classroom activities
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and team consultations as needed
  • Offer professional guidance and resources to staff and families regarding speech-language concerns
