Job Description

This opportunity is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Sign Language Interpreter to support K-12 students in an educational setting. Located in Grand Blanc, MI, this contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the current school year (CSY).

Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions for students with communication disorders. You will collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and promote effective communication skills across diverse learning environments. For Sign Language Interpreters, duties involve facilitating clear communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their peers, teachers, and staff, ensuring full access to the curriculum and social interactions.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Licensed and certified as an SLP or Sign Language Interpreter according to state requirements
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders, assessment tools, and intervention strategies
