This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services in a K-12 school setting. The role focuses on supporting students communication development through individualized treatment plans and collaborative efforts with educators and families.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid New Mexico SLP Certification
- Clinical Competence Certificate (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Proven experience delivering speech therapy services in school environments, preferably K-12
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Location:
- Grady, New Mexico
Schedule and Duration:
- Contract position for the current school year (CSY)
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services addressing speech, language, and communication disorders
- Work closely with teachers and school personnel to support students academic success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
