Step into an exciting, full-time role as a Speech Language Pathologist, supporting students during the entire 2026-2027 school year. This onsite contract opportunity provides the chance to work closely with a diverse student population in a vibrant educational environment near Gloucester, VA. You'll be an integral part of a dedicated team, collaborating to address the communication and developmental needs of children from various backgrounds.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Virginia SLP License required
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) eligible and welcomed
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping children achieve success in communication
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Provide direct therapy services according to students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Keep thorough documentation of progress and communicate effectively with the educational team
- Stay up to date with best practices in speech-language therapy for school settings
