Job Description
A K-12 educational institution in Glendale, CA is seeking a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position from March 2026 through June 4, 2026. This opportunity offers a 30-35 hour per week schedule with the potential to support a caseload averaging approximately 45 students. The exact school site within the district will be determined prior to the start date.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress and optimize outcomes.
- Providing direct therapy services in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintaining detailed documentation and reports in accordance with educational and clinical standards.
Desired qualifications:
- Current certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP, CCC) and school-based experience preferred.
- Proven ability to manage large caseloads effectively while delivering high-quality clinical services.
- Knowledge of K-12 speech and language development and educational protocols.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Flexibility to adapt to a contracting role with varying assignments and schedules.
