A School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a high school located in Glendale, AZ, for the current school year. This contract role offers full-time hours, ranging from 37.5 to 40 hours per week, serving one high school caseload.
Key responsibilities include assisting and guiding teachers in observing, describing, and referring students with suspected or identified speech and language impairments. The SLP will provide comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of speech, voice, hearing, and language disorders. Additionally, the role involves delivering individualized therapy programs tailored to meet each student's unique needs and collaborating closely with classroom teachers and other staff to effectively implement therapy interventions within the educational setting.
Ideal candidates will hold an Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist License issued by the Department of Education or an equivalent credential. Experience working in a school environment and a strong understanding of speech and language development in adolescents are highly beneficial.
