Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Virginia Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
  • Open to SLPs holding the CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not mandatory

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver speech, language, and communication assessments for students across grades K-12
  • Develop and implement targeted therapy interventions tailored to each student's needs
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, sharing insights for IEP development and academic planning
  • Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and provide regular updates to staff and families
  • Offer education and support to teachers and caregivers to enhance classroom integration of therapy goals
  • Adapt therapy activities to suit a diverse student population in a supportive school setting

This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week over five days, providing ample opportunity for meaningful student engagement and professional development.
