Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Kentucky SLP license required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Adaptability to work with diverse student populations, ranging from elementary through high school
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to craft individualized treatment plans and adjust strategies as needed
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students of varying ages and needs
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and therapy sessions
- Participate in meetings and contribute to team-based solutions
- Provide training or resources to staff and families, as appropriate
