Job Description

This opportunity invites a skilled and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support at both an elementary and high school setting. The role primarily focuses on an elementary caseload with the inclusion of approximately 10 high school students, allowing for a diverse and rewarding clinical experience in a school environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • VA SLP License is required.
  • Experience with elementary-aged students and some high school students.
  • Strong communication and assessment skills aligned with school settings.
  • SLP certification with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.

Location:

  • Onsite position based in Front Royal, VA within both an elementary and high school.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and direct therapy with a varied caseload, primarily elementary students.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and school professionals to support student communication needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and comply with school policies.
  • Adapt therapy to meet individual student needs and assist in preparing students for academic success.

Work Schedule and Duration:

  • This is a contract leave position starting January 5th, 2026, through April 2026.
  • Work hours are 7.5 hours per day, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch, totaling 35 hours per week.
