Job Description

This contract position offers an excellent opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide vital services within an elementary school setting in Fremont, CA. The role is onsite for the 20252026 school year, supporting one school with a K-5 caseload. This position emphasizes a balanced mix of direct therapy and assessment responsibilities, ideal for a professional looking to make a meaningful impact on student communication development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments, including initial evaluations and comprehensive services
  • Provide individual and group direct therapy services for K-5 students
  • Manage a caseload averaging no more than 55 students
  • Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with educational staff to support student needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP license (SLP-CCC) is required
  • Previous school experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification is advantageous but not required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills tailored to an educational environment

Location and Hours:

  • Position is based onsite in Fremont, California
  • 35 hours per week exclusively at one assigned school
