Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Contract Leave Position
Location: Fremont, CA

This contract leave role is ideal for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant seeking experience in a high school setting. The position offers full-time hours working with a diverse caseload, providing support to students requiring speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language therapy to high school students
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed Speech Language Pathologists
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes for student cases
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to support student communication goals
- Utilize teletherapy methodologies as needed to support remote services
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLPA certification or licensure suited for school settings
- Experience working in educational or healthcare environments, preferably with pediatric or adolescent populations
- Knowledge of speech and language disorders specific to school-aged children
- Ability to support teletherapy service delivery effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to working full-time during the leave period
