Job Description

An opportunity exists for a skilled candidate to provide vital support within a K-12 educational setting in Fremont, CA. This position is focused on enhancing the communication skills of students through assessment, intervention, and tailored educational strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
  • Strong assessment and therapeutic skills to address diverse speech and language needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with faculty, students, and parents.

Location: Fremont, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language intervention.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
