Job Description

This is a dynamic opportunity for a dedicated professional within an engaging elementary school environment in Flushing, MI. The full-time position is set for the 2025-2026 school year, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young students.

Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Clinical Fellows Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in SLP is a plus
  • Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders

Location:

  • Flushing, MI, elementary school

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
  • Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress
  • Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students in need of services
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
