This rewarding, full-time contract opportunity involves providing direct therapy to K12 students through meaningful, hands-on interaction. Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Indiana SLP license (required)
- Indiana Department of Education (DOE) certification (required)
- SLP-CCC credentials
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, therapy, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with students across K12 grade levels
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students with communication and language needs
- Conduct standardized evaluations and assessments
- Participate actively in developing and implementing IEPs
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating closely with staff and parents
- Monitor student progress and document interventions
- Offer consultation and support to teachers and families
