An opportunity exists for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 school setting. This role focuses on supporting the communication needs of students, fostering their educational development and social skills.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Kentucky Speech Language Pathologist License
  • ASHA Certification; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Location:
Situated in Florence, KY, this position involves working directly within a K-12 school environment, engaging with elementary students.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain a caseload of approximately 45 elementary students
  • Provide direct therapy and support to students requiring speech and language interventions
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to create a supportive learning environment
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and needs
