Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Experience in school settings preferred
  • Proficient in pediatric speech and language disorders
  • CCC-SLP (Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) preferred
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply

Location:

Flint, MI Elementary School Setting

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate students learning and communication
  • Conduct regular progress evaluations and adjust therapy as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Provide professional development to staff regarding speech and language initiatives
