This contract position offers a unique opportunity to serve a caseload comprised of spot fill needs, including itinerant assignments at multiple school sites. You'll find tremendous professional variety in this onsite-only role, which features work with high school students in a self-contained classroom setting for moderate to severe needs as well.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist License required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience in Maryland school settings strongly preferred
• Capacity to adapt to diverse student needs across the K-12 spectrum
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students based on individualized education plans
• Travel to various school sites as an itinerant clinician to address spot fill needs
• Provide both direct therapy and consultative support in a high school classroom for students with moderate to severe needs
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and special education staff to support student progress and optimal learning outcomes
• Maintain thorough documentation according to district and regulatory guidelines
