Make a meaningful impact working with students across K-12 in a supportive educational environment as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist CCC. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to serve a caseload comprised of spot fill needs, including itinerant assignments at multiple school sites. You'll find tremendous professional variety in this onsite-only role, which features work with high school students in a self-contained classroom setting for moderate to severe needs as well.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in Maryland school settings strongly preferred
- Capacity to adapt to diverse student needs across the K-12 spectrum
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students based on individualized education plans
- Travel to various school sites as an itinerant clinician to address spot fill needs
- Provide both direct therapy and consultative support in a high school classroom for students with moderate to severe needs
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and special education staff to support student progress and optimal learning outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation according to district and regulatory guidelines
