Job Description

Seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential support in a dynamic K-12 educational environment in Federal Way, WA. This role involves working closely with students across two schools, focusing on evaluating and addressing a variety of communication disorders.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license with ESA
  • Recent fingerprint clearance through OSPI (within the past two years)
  • CCC-SLP or CFY status preferred
  • Experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong documentation and IEP development skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Location:
Federal Way, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students for communication disorders, assessing areas such as language, articulation, fluency, and voice.
  • Document evaluation results and their impact on students' educational performance.
  • Develop treatment plans and recommend interventions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to implement IEPs.
  • Maintain a manageable caseload, averaging 55 students for full-time positions.
