Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a maternity leave assignment from October 20 to mid-December. This role involves providing speech and language services to K-5 students with disabilities across two elementary schools. The position is onsite in Fairport, NY, and offers an opportunity to work closely with young learners in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students with diverse communication needs
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and document therapy outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed

Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State SLP License
  • New York State Teaching Certification
  • Experience working with school-age children, particularly in elementary settings
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively and communicate with multidisciplinary teams
