Job Description

This opportunity is designed for a Speech Language Pathologist ready to provide impactful leave coverage in an elementary school setting in Everett, WA. This contract position offers flexibility, with the option to work either 1 day per week or 4 days per week, serving preschool and elementary-aged students. You will engage with a caseload ranging from 9 preschool students for the one-day option to approximately 36 students from preschool through elementary for the four-day schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders within the school environment
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized plans
  • Deliver speech therapy services tailored to preschool and elementary-aged students
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation and progress reports

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Speech Language Pathologist license and Educator Service Agreement (ESA)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working in school-based speech therapy, particularly with preschool and elementary students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children and school personnel
