Key qualifications include:

  • Current Wisconsin Speech Language Pathologist License
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Wisconsin Department of Education Certification
  • Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students, focusing on individualized education plan (IEP) goals
  • Perform evaluations, create documentation, and maintain thorough records according to regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers on intervention strategies and best practices
  • Advocate for student needs and offer support to classroom staff
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with district and state regulations
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging environment for students of all abilities
