Ideal candidates bring:
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY also considered)
- Previous experience with pediatric and/or school-based caseloads
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress tracking, and collaborative goal setting
- Strong clinical, organization, and communication skills
- Dedication to fostering positive relationships with students, families, and staff
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting student assessments and evaluations in collaboration with school teams
- Developing and executing tailored treatment plans to address individual student needs
- Documenting progress and participating in IEP meetings
- Providing group and one-on-one therapy sessions within the school environment
- Offering support and resources to families and multidisciplinary colleagues
