Step into an engaging Speech Language Pathologist opportunity working with middle and high school students across two vibrant educational settings in the Escondido area. This contract position runs from August to December 2026 and offers the chance to make meaningful connections while supporting students growth in communication and language development.

Collaborate closely with a dedicated team, including an assigned SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) who provides significant support for therapy three to four days per week, ensuring manageable caseloads and effective service delivery for the approximately 67 students youll serve. Youll work full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday) and play a pivotal role in helping students succeed academically and socially.

Desired Credentials & Experience:

• Active California Speech Language Pathologist License
• Qualification as CCC-SLP or SLP-CFY welcomed
• Experience in educational, school-based, or pediatric settings highly valued
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to middle and high school students
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
• Maintain detailed student records and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster student success
• Supervise and work in partnership with a dedicated SLPA to maximize student support
