Job Description

As part of a collaborative school-based team, you will evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct therapy services to students with a range of speech and language needs. This position welcomes both experienced speech-language pathologists and clinical fellows eager to begin their school-based careers.

Qualifications:

  • Valid ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathology (SL) endorsement
  • Active Illinois State SLP license (IDFPR)
  • Will consider Clinical Fellows (CF-SLPs)
  • Experience with K-12 student populations a plus
  • Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students across K-12 grades
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
