Job Description
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available in an early childhood school setting near Elgin, IL. This contract role supports an early childhood caseload and is ideal for professionals holding an active SLP license. The position offers an opportunity to work with young children, providing essential speech and language services to support their developmental progress.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) required
- Experience with early childhood populations preferred
- Comfort working in school-based and teletherapy settings
- Ability to manage full caseload independently
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is a plus
- Familiarity with speech therapy best practices for pediatrics and healthcare environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for early childhood students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs
- Provide direct therapy services using in-person and teletherapy methods
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports compliant with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
