Job Description

A leading K-12 school in Elgin, IL is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). This role offers valuable experience working with a diverse student population in a supportive educational environment.

Key qualifications include:

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure
  • Expertise in school-based speech and language services (SLP - CCC, SLP - School)

Position details:

  • Contract role for the current school year
  • Approximately 22.5 hours per week
  • Based in Elgin, IL

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and school policies
