A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support three schools within a K-12 setting in El Cajon, CA. This onsite position focuses primarily on middle school caseloads and offers a contract opportunity to cover a leave of absence. This role provides a valuable chance to impact students communication skills and development in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services tailored to middle school students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records and track student outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and maintain licensure requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist licensure is required
- Experience in school-based speech therapy preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time with flexibility to support students needs
