Job Description

A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide essential therapy services to elementary school students. This contract position is ideal for professionals dedicated to supporting children's communication development within a school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students, including teletherapy options as applicable
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district guidelines
  • Participate in meetings and consultations regarding students educational goals

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Valid SLP certification (CCC-SLP preferred)
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, especially within school settings
  • Familiarity with the Current School Year (CSY) calendar and educational protocols
  • Ability to provide teletherapy services effectively
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
