A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in two schools within a district located near Edison, NJ. This position is ideal for professionals with pediatric and school-based experience, including those holding Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
Location: Edison, New Jersey (serving schools in the nearby district)
Scheduled Hours: Approximately 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Assignment Duration: ASAP start through June 19, 2026
Caseload: Itinerant position covering two schools, primarily serving students from early childhood through 5th grade, focused on managing overflow caseload needs
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and school-based populations
- Ability to provide speech-language therapy services aligned with educational settings
- Knowledge of IEP processes and related documentation systems beneficial
- Comfortable working in itinerant capacity across multiple school sites
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language evaluations and therapy services to students with diverse communication needs
- Collaborate with educational teams to support IEP development and implementation
- Manage caseload efficiently, covering overflow to meet student needs
- Participate in team meetings and relevant administrative duties as required
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with district policies

- The district utilizes Zoom for flexible interview scheduling
- Decision and offer processes are expedited, with a 24-hour turnaround upon interview completion
- Participation in paid team meetings and indirect administrative time included
- Professional supervision structure available if applicable
