Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with middle school students as a Speech Language Pathologist. This onsite position is based near Eden Prairie, MN, with coverage for two middle schools and extends from late August 2026 through early June 2027. In this dynamic role, you'll primarily oversee and support an SLPA who will deliver the majority of direct services, ensuring quality therapy and communication growth for students.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid licensure to practice in Minnesota
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong collaboration and supervisory skillsessential for working closely with an SLPA
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, positive growth for students in middle school
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and mentor a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) delivering most student services
- Manage assessments, IEP planning, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Contribute to a supportive and engaging learning environment for students with a variety of communication needs
