Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students near Eden Prairie, Minnesota for the academic year. Two full-time positions are available to work onsite with an itinerant caseload, serving multiple locations within the district. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on communication skill development and educational success.
Key Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Minnesota state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (see requirements: Professional License, Level 2, 3, or 4)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Previous experience with school-aged children, ideally in an itinerant capacity
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to travel between schools within the district as needed
Position Highlights & Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with a range of communication disorders
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEP goals
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Participate in team meetings, and contribute to student evaluations and re-evaluations
- Deliver services in a variety of school-based and itinerant settings (100% onsiteno teletherapy)
