Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support in an elementary school setting located in Eden Prairie, MN. This is a contract position covering a leave, offering a valuable opportunity to work directly with a middle caseload of students requiring speech and language intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultation and support to families regarding speech and language development
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota SLP License is mandatory
- Certification as an SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence - CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings with elementary and middle school-aged children
- Strong assessment and intervention skills in speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
