Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to serve PreK-6th grade students in an elementary school setting in Saint Paul, MN. This contract position offers a part-time schedule with three days per week, providing a valuable opportunity to support speech and language development within a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for students from PreK through 6th grade
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making

Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Department of Education SLP License required
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or currently within Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience or interest in school-based speech-language pathology preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with elementary-age children
