Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services in an engaging elementary school setting. This position is designed for a professional looking to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills from Pre-K to 8th grade.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist License (IL SLP-CCC)
  • Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech therapy services to students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
  • Monitor student progress and maintain documentation
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff
  • Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
