Job Description

A K-12 school in East Orange, NJ is seeking five licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support a diverse student population. The contract positions run from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY) with full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Openings include four full-time roles (37.5 hours/week) and one part-time role (25 hours/week). Most positions serve high school students, with one opening at the PreK-K level, and the part-time role based at an elementary school. All work is onsite, providing direct support to students in speech and language development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide therapy to students across grade levels.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate SLP services into the classroom.
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • NJ School Certification as an SLP.
  • Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with K-12 students, including high school and early childhood.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
